The Merseyside derby has its roots in a split: Everton played at Anfield until 1892, and Liverpool FC was formed to play there when Everton moved to Goodison Park. It is often called the friendly derby because families in the city are frequently divided between red and blue.
Since the 2025/26 season Everton’s home matches have been played at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock on the Liverpool waterfront, so the derby now takes fans to the river as well as to Anfield.

When you book, your card is authorised but not charged. We confirm your booking and only then take payment. If the package is unavailable, the hold is released in full.
Derbies are often moved for TV broadcast. If a match is moved to another date or time, your booking stays valid for the new date and there is no refund. If it is cancelled and not rescheduled, we refund everything you paid, including the 5% booking fee.
