The Bundesliga is an 18-club league in which every club plays 34 matches between August and May, with a short winter break over Christmas and New Year. German clubs are governed by the 50+1 rule, under which members keep the majority of voting rights in most clubs, and big standing terraces remain part of the matchday culture.
Bayern Munich play at the Allianz Arena in the north of Munich, which opened in 2005 and is known for an outer shell of panels that can be lit up in different colours. Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park is the largest stadium in Germany, and its south stand, the Yellow Wall, is one of the most famous terraces in world football. Both grounds hosted matches at Euro 2024.
Der Klassiker between Bayern and Dortmund is the biggest fixture of the German season. Bundesliga hospitality usually means a business seat with access to a lounge, or a private box, with food and drinks included; exactly what your package includes is shown on each match page and confirmed in your booking email.
Dortmund v Hoffenheim – 30 Jan 2027 · from £401 per person, plus 5% booking fee (≈ EUR 480)
EUR amounts are approximate, rounded guides based on a rate of about €1.185 to £1 (as of 18 October 2026). You are always charged in GBP, and your bank sets the final exchange rate.
Travelling from the UK to Germany for football
Munich and the Rhine-Ruhr airports around Dortmund have direct flights from the UK. Since 12 October 2025 the EU Entry/Exit System (EES) has applied at Schengen borders, so on a UK passport you may be asked to register fingerprints and a photo on arrival; there is nothing to do in advance and no fee. The separate ETIAS travel authorisation is not yet operating and has no confirmed start date, so do not pay any website that claims to sell one, and check GOV.UK travel advice before you go.
In Munich, U-Bahn line U6 runs from Marienplatz in the city centre to Fröttmaning, just south of the Allianz Arena. In Dortmund, U-Bahn lines U45 and U46 run to the Stadion stop on matchdays, and regional trains from Dortmund Hauptbahnhof stop at Dortmund Signal-Iduna-Park station.
Bundesliga kick-off times are fixed by the league a few weeks ahead around the broadcast schedule, with Saturday 15:30 the traditional slot, so keep your plans flexible until the time is confirmed. Bring your passport, as photo ID may be checked at the hospitality entrance.

How does booking Bundesliga hospitality work?
Choose a fixture and package and pay by card. When you book, your card is authorised but not charged. We confirm your booking and only then take payment. If the package is unavailable, the hold is released in full.
Are prices per person?
Yes. All prices are per person in GBP, plus a 5% booking fee, which is shown as a separate line in your basket and at checkout before you pay. What is included (dining, drinks, seat location) varies by package and is confirmed in your booking email.
When will I receive my tickets?
Tickets are usually delivered electronically up to 7 days before the event.
What happens if the date or kick-off time changes?
Kick-off times are often moved for TV broadcast. If a fixture is rescheduled, rearranged or postponed (a new date, time or venue), there is no refund and your booking stays valid for the new date. If it is cancelled and not rescheduled, we refund everything you paid, including the 5% booking fee.
Is Ticket House affiliated with the Bundesliga?
No. Ticket House is an independent seller and is not affiliated with any club, league, promoter or event organiser. Names are used for identification only.
