Two of England’s biggest clubs have strong links with the Emirates. Manchester City have been owned by Abu Dhabi United Group since 2008 and play at the Etihad Stadium, named after Abu Dhabi’s national airline, while Arsenal’s home in north London is the Emirates Stadium, named after the Dubai-based airline. Their home fixtures are listed below with AED guide prices.
Since 2022 the UAE weekend has been Saturday and Sunday, which lines up neatly with the English football calendar: fly out on a Thursday or Friday evening, watch a Saturday or Sunday fixture, and be back for the working week. At home, the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina closes the Formula 1 season in early December: Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2026 (4 December 2026, from £401 per person (plus 5% booking fee)).

When you book, your card is authorised but not charged. We confirm your booking and only then take payment. If the package is unavailable, the hold is released in full. Emirates flies from Dubai and Etihad from Abu Dhabi direct to Manchester, as well as to London, so a weekend trip for a single match at Old Trafford, the Etihad, Anfield or a London ground is very achievable. Nationals of the UAE and other Gulf states now need a UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling. Requirements depend on your passport, so check GOV.UK before you book flights.

Yes. Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr expected on 9 or 10 March 2027, subject to the moon sighting. English football carries on as normal through that period. Lounges serve food from opening time, so tell us when you book if you will be fasting and we will check what the package can offer after sunset.
Yes. Emirates flies Dubai to Manchester and Etihad flies Abu Dhabi to Manchester, both direct, alongside many daily flights to London. Manchester is convenient for Old Trafford and the Etihad Stadium, and Liverpool’s grounds are about an hour away.
